Will this work for my dog?
The Rear Support Harness provides partial help at the back while your dog does what they can. It is intended for getting up, potty trips, and short assisted movement. It is not a full-body carrier. If your dog needs front-end support too, ask your vet about an appropriate setup.
How do I know which size to get?
Measure your dog and compare their measurements with the product size guide. Weight alone doesn’t tell you where the support will sit. If you’re unsure, email support@dogfirst.co before ordering.
What if I get the wrong size?
Contact support@dogfirst.co with your order details and where the fit seems wrong. The current return policy explains the available exchange process.
Will it be comfortable for my dog?
Follow the fitting instructions and check where the support sits before your dog puts weight into it. Stop if it rubs, shifts, presses on a sore spot, or your dog seems uncomfortable. Recheck the fit and get advice before trying again.
What can I use it for?
Use it for getting up, potty trips, and short assisted movement at your dog’s pace. Stairs and car entry require a suitable setup and a dog who can still do some of the work. Never carry their full body weight from rear support alone. It is not a car restraint.
Can my dog go to the bathroom while wearing it?
The harness can help your dog reach their potty spot. The existing product information does not confirm bathroom clearance while it is worn. Email support@dogfirst.co to confirm suitability for your dog before ordering.
What if it doesn’t help my dog?
Contact support@dogfirst.co before sending anything back. The saved return policy allows return requests within 90 days of delivery and currently includes condition and sale-item exclusions.
